Dangers to persons living in homeless (houseless) communities in the Saratoga, include fire risks, mold and mildew, landslides, exposure to diseased pests and rodents and an on-going threat of violence. With a lack of access to Saratoga infrastructure (e.g., shelter, stormwater management, water and sanitation systems, electricity, heating, trash services) greatly increases the homeless environmental danger exposure.
